SFO

WE'RE HERE!

Quick Plane Change

Oh my that was fast. We got off the plane and were escorted outside with earplugs to walk by landing planes in order to catch our plane. We basically got inline and walked on to our plane. I wore my earplugs, Keith wished he wore his but claimed he was waiting to use them tonite to protect his ears from *MY* snoring. Hmmm.. me thinks a snoring video of him might be in order.

Gotta run, but more laters.

Oh, the black bands on my wrists are a life saver for air sickness. So is Vodka Tonic.. ;)

San Francisco here we come...

Waiting waiting for a plane. A late plane. :(

We had a wonderful dinner at Agustin Brasserie. It will be hard to top that in San Fran. We shared a cheese plate. I had a very nice glass of wine. My dinner was the market salad-hericot vert, arugula, goat cheese, ocal cherry tomatoes and a wonderful light dressing. I also had a cup of vichyssoise-a cold potato leek soup. I learned to make this soup when I was 14 years old, working for a lady who had MS. I would go to her house after school and get her out of bed and ready for dinner. I would wheel her into the kitchen, and she would explain to me how to make the meals that she and her husband would eat. I learned ALOT of jewish cooking from her. From chicken soup to borscht. She was a precious and wonderful lady who was dealt a bad hand with the MS.

As usual when I travel, I will blog my adventures. I now have this cute little mini-ipad with a keyboard and is makes it much easier to write on the fly...like when you are waiting for a late plane.

I am looking forward to this get-away. We need a break!! I have made a message on my phone that says I am on vacation, the studio is in Kathy's very capable hands(even though it is closed).. and I have left SACA in the Vice President, Linda Baker's very capable hands.

Mini-moon VACATION here I come. (I always feel like I am on my honeymoon with Keith, with-out the trappings of marriage, which makes it all that much better.)

More laters,
