Got the clearance to go.. neck is getting better.. no vicodin today. CT scan says stay the course. Must stay on the antibiotics and I am not contagious. This is probably a result of my low immunity from being on the steriods. I will stop at the health food store on my way out and get lots of stuff to keep me well!! I could up the steriods, but I told the doc NO! Note to self.. bring nice pot back for doc.. I like this doc, he is darling!!

NOW, a power nap, collect my clothes and tools.. and be on my way. Not sure I can get out of here by nightfall, or if I will wait till morning! Sure would be nice to wake up in San Diego at my best friend from HS house!!! Plan on making connections while there with my cousin and a two friends my sister and I use to hang with as kids.
I am concerned about fires near Bakersfield but will cross that bridge tomorrow.
